Risk management and economic security
Member of the cluster
Some decisions call for someone you can trust.
Founded by two former senior officers of the Gendarmerie’s intelligence and counter-terrorism units, Coreo is a risk management and economic security firm dedicated to executives and investors.
Specialists in security and defence matters, we step in at key moments in the life of private and public organisations, when they face sensitive decisions, major transformations or high-stakes situations.
Discover our training courses too, to build your risk culture and strengthen your ability to decide and arbitrate under uncertainty, day to day as in a crisis.

The strength of a network.
Coreo draws on an ecosystem of experienced people, many of them from the French ministries of the Armed Forces and of the Interior, called in according to what is at stake.
Senior executives to stand beside a chief executive or run a strategic project.
Field specialists to meet complex technical needs.
They trust us.
What our clients ask us.
What does Coreo do?
Coreo is a risk management and economic security firm. It helps executives and investors make informed decisions, then protect the assets those decisions put at stake. Its nine areas of expertise fall into two fields: investment security (due diligence, studies and foresight, strategic monitoring, project leadership) and business protection (risk audit, counter-interference, protection of classified information, crisis management, training).
Who is Coreo for?
Executives of industrial and agri-food groups, partners in law, accounting and notarial firms, founders of start-ups and deep tech companies, elected officials and local authority leadership, investors, family offices and financial advisers. All of them face a sensitive decision: an acquisition, an appointment, a market entry, a defence tender, a crisis to see through.
How does an engagement work?
It begins with a confidential one-hour conversation with a partner, to understand the situation and the decision it calls for. A written proposal then sets the scope, timeline and deliverables. Coreo brings together the profiles the engagement requires, works on site when needed and answers for its work through to the final debrief. You receive clear conclusions and measures you can apply, not one more report.
What sets Coreo apart from other firms?
Experience gained in the field before it was put to advisory use. The founders are former senior officers of the Gendarmerie’s intelligence and counter-terrorism units, and the firm draws on a network of profiles from the French Ministries of the Armed Forces and the Interior. That practice shows in every engagement: recommendations designed to be applied, which Coreo implements itself.
Can you provide references?
Yes, within the discretion our clients expect. The organisations that trust us, from the French Ministry of the Armed Forces to SNCF, appear on this page with their consent. Engagements, for their part, never name their client: each is described by its nature, sector, client size and results.
Where does Coreo work?
Coreo is based in Vannes, its head office, and in Lyon. It works throughout France and abroad, on site whenever an engagement requires it.
Monitoring, analysis and insight.
